WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR FIRST VISIT:
After reviewing the information provided on your intake forms, Dr. Scott will discuss your complaint and goals of care with you directly, as well as gather any additional information needed. A relevant exam will then be performed to determine the cause of your problem. Using the exam results, Dr. Scott will determine if there is a need for diagnostic imaging and whether or not you are a good candidate for conservative care.
If you are a candidate for conservative care:
- Discussion of the appropriate treatment approach and plan to help you reach your goals
- Treatment administered
If you are not a candidate for conservative care:
- An appropriate referral to the local facility best suited to treat your issue will be provided
We are able to initiate care on the vast majority of our patients on the first visit without the need for x-rays or additional imaging.
