The world of golf training is constantly evolving.  The Titleist Performance Institute has been and continues to be at the fore front of this evolution.

Have you ever had a golf coach or playing partner tell you what is wrong with your swing and yet you still can't seem to correct the problem even after it has been identified?  This is extremely common in the golf world and has identified a flaw in the golf training system:  You cannot correct a swing problem if the player cannot physically perform the necessary motions.  Most people are unable to perform all of the physical movements necessary to correct their swing problems.  However, if these physical limitations of the body are eliminated, correcting that swing becomes easy and almost natural.   

This is the goal of a Golf Fitness Assessment, to identify one's physical limitations that alter their swing motion, preventing them from achieving their maximum golf potential.  Consisting of  a series of 13 physical screens, the Golf Fitness Assessment is designed to identify inadequate mobility, flexibility, stability and strength that can be correlated to specific faults in the golf swing.  Once these limitations have been identified, a customized prescription of stretches, strength training, stability training, and functional drills can be designed to eliminate the player's issues and elevate their game.

This system of physical screens has been developed and perfected through years of research and practical application by the Titleist Performance Institute and is common practice amongst professional golfers.

Golf Fitness Assessments and training are effective with golfers of all skill levels... from the beginner who is just taking up the game, to the golfer who is getting older and doesn't have the flexibility and strength they once did, to the golfer in his prime looking to take their game to the next level.
